I can't access this article, what do I do?

Answer

It may depend on several possibilities. The Library has access to hundreds of thousands of articles from several hundred databases, but not all the databases provide full text articles. Some journals are available from a different database in full text, depending on the subscription. You could search our A-Z Journals List to see if we have full text access to the journal in which the article you are looking for was published in.

Another reason why an article might not be available yet is because some databases embargo some journals from full text access within a certain time frame (such as a six month embargo for new publications) so that the databases entice you to purchase an individual subscription to buy the article. In such instances, you could contact our Reference and Interlibrary Loan Librarian, Paige Crumbley, who can order the article for you through ILL.

Another possibility is there is a broken link. For that, please reach out to the Electronic Resources Librarian, Daniel Dubei, and he can assist you further and make sure to fix broken links.
